Starting in those adolescent years, acne can be a feat that any teenager dreams of overcoming. Is it possible or is being acne free, just a dream?Even in the teenage years, it is possible to have vibrant and healthy skin that is clear of acne?  Some think not, but I disagree! Yes, it’s completely possible. 

Becoming acne free can change your life!  It can boost your self-esteem and make you feel better about the way that you look on a daily basis.  You won’t wake fearing that your face has been visited by large zits during the night.Those days could be over for you. 

Keeping your face clean is one of the first steps to becoming acne free.Try to cleanse your skin twice a day with soap that worked well with your skin type, and this is one key to keeping the blemishes at bay.Exfoliation of your skin every other day is often recommended by the experts.This step will help you discard your skin of dead skin cells that can build up and cause unwanted pimples. 

Another part of keeping your skin clean is to nourish it from the inside out.  Eating a healthy diet and drinking plenty of water is essential to keeping your skin hydrated and healthy.By consuming food high in omega-3 fatty acids and anti-oxidants, you can help keep your skin looking its best.By drinking around ten, 8 oz. glasses of water a day, you can keep your skin hydrated and radiant.  

Rest is another factor to maintaining healthy skin.Have you seen a person who gets little or no sleep with flawless skin?It’s just not going to happen.In order for your skin to renew itself, you need to get at least 8 hours of sleep every night.  This quality sleep will also help you remain stress free which will keep you acne free. 

Eliminating stress can be a difficult feat in our day and age.However, exercising and getting plenty of restful sleep can help in this area.Another thing essential for healthy skin is exercise, as it keeps the skin properly oxygenated.

Other factors that can keep you rid acne are limited, unprotected skin exposure and no smoking.When out in the sun, our skin should be exposed only for a few moment without sunscreen.To keep your skin protected from harmful UV rays, apply plenty of sunscreen. Also, smoking cigarettes is certainly not the best for your skin.To avoid unwanted acne, don’t smoke cigarettes, as the smoke clogs your lungs and your skin’s pours with unhealthy toxins. 

With these and other small steps, anyone can be acne free.  It is possible, and not just a dream. By properly caring for their skin, many teenagers and adults alike, are living the acne free life everyday.
